Our next Chapter meeting is set for Monday, October 13, at the Duck Club in Irvine. Mark the date, we’d love to see you there, and bring a friend! Bill Bowling of Friends of the LA River (FoLAR) will present the current status and plans for the restoration of the LA River. As an historic steelhead stream, the Los Angeles River presents a unique opportunity for river restoration, urban recreation, and innovative flood control methods. Sure to be a good evening and, as always, it's free and includes sugary refreshments!
