Fishermen needed!!! Friends of the Los Angeles River (FoLAR) and the Aquairum of the Pacific are sponsoring a fishing day on the LA River estuary on October 4, 2014. The estuary is alive with fish, and biologist Rosi Dagit will be on hand to conduct a survey of the fish that are caught. You'll get to see the lower river as restoration efforts begin, and maybe see the local osprey that fishes the area too. Osprey and wild fish on the LA River? Come on down and you'll see!
