Great Blue and Largemouth Bass in the LA River estuary

The estuary of the Los Angeles River, in Long Beach, is teeming with life: fish, birds, and mammals of all types. Roger Cook captured the instant a great blue heron impaled a largemouth bass. Steelhead trout are native to the LA River, and TU is supporting efforts to restore native fish habitat.
