Local Leadership

The South Coast Cutthroat Chapter of Trout Unlimited is an all-volunteer conservation nonprofit working to care for and recover rivers and streams and the trout salmon that call them home. Working with TU staff and community partners, we bring people together to make our trout and salmon fisheries stronger, our water cleaner and our communities healthier. Join us and be a champion for your rivers and streams.

If you have the interest and time to make a deeper commitment to our local conservation and education work, we’d welcome you on the board or one of our many committees. To get started, connect with a South Coast Cutthroat board member at one of our monthly gatherings or coming events, or contact us to learn more.

TREASURER
Ryan Motley
Coos Bay

Ryan works in fisheries at the Bureau of Land Management, but in his free time, you can find him exploring Oregon’s beautiful south coast. He likes to fish, hunt, mountain bike, garden, forage and surf. Ryan also enjoys walking the beach with his wife and two dogs, and during the rain-filled winter, he’s usually hunkered down by the fireplace and reading a book. Ryan also enjoys a good beer at our local brewery regardless of the weather.
